Laser is a game that will consume hours of your life. I literally had to convince myself several times that I was finished playing and admit defeat. This game, like all great games, is simple at the core: you must direct a laser using different mirrors, which bend the light differently to light all of the lightbulbs on the screen. I warn you that you won’t be able to walk away, because it literally makes you so confused and angry that you can’t figure it out (at least for me anyway) and then all of a sudden you get it and you’re hooked on the next level. This video is funny in a disturbing manner. Viewer discretion is advised! I was literally shocked and horrified at the outcome of this seemingly entertaining “dance routine.” My question is, who was supposed to be watching that kid?!? I mean, obviously an accident and I hope the child is ok, but sweet damn! Keep your kids on a leash! (Not literally, of course…)
The title of this post kinda reminds me of that old song from the 90’s: “Whoa-o-o, the sweetest blog.” Polliwog is a mother of 6 and does in fact kind of live in a pond. Well, she lives on an island, a 45 minute ferry ride into the main land. This isn’t some big Hawaii island either…there’s no shopping malls, fast food restaurants. Lucky for Polli’s readers, there is internet, and so we get to experience her “sweet” blog.
One of the posts I absolutely had to write about here is a recent meme Polli did entitled Blog Libs…kinda like those old Mad Lib “Fill in the Blanks to Create a Funny Story” books. In this version though, instead of random words in the blanks, you fill it in with the names of other blogs and bloggers and blog posts (and link to them in the process). This is a great way to have a fun post that links to your friends and I congratulate Polli for taking the time (and having enough friends) to make a really entertaining Blog Lib. Planet Racer is some seriously good times! It kind of reminds me of an updated version of Nintendo’s RC ProAM. You basically build your car by upgrading your parts and then challenge others to race around planets!

This game pits you against an oncoming stream of balloons. You can utilize weapons such as a single monkey shooting darts, an urchin-like tower that sprays tacks, a cannon and other crazy stuff! The object is to not let the balloons get by you. The catch is that red = 1 ballon, blue = 2, green 3, yellow 4 etc. The higher the color, the faster the balloon. Each time you pop a yellow it becomes a green, etc. This game is crazy fun!
Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn’t seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy takes out his phone and calls the emergency services.

You must really love the arcade classics! Friday brought us Frogger, and today Pacman! This is one of my favorite arcade games and truly defined its era. I bet 9 out of 10 arcades today still have pac man on tap. The one thing that’s missing from the original though is the cut scenes in between levels. I really miss those!
I made it to level 7 with a score around 34,000 (missed the screenshot, sorry) and didn’t even make the top 500…these people are crazy!
