Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a line and let you know I’ve been hard at work on some site design over at Blankest Blank! We now have a logo (courtesy of my father-in-law, who I thank for doing the work for free 
) Please drop a line and let me know what you think of it and the rest of the site design. The logo is currently up on the Main page and the Voting pages and I’ll be working all afternoon to get it up and running on the rest of the pages. I’ve got a lot of big plans for the site to make it a bit more user friendly. I’ve been doing little things every day (most of you probably haven’t even noticed, which is good as it means I haven’t interrupted the traffic flow too much) but my schedule has been crazily hectic. It is a FANTASTIC logo - keep it up. It gives the Blankest Blog site a personal sort of appeal

That’s cute! Now you have to turn it into a favicon so it will appear on my tab instead of the bluehost faveicon. Do you know how to do that? If not, give a yell and I’ll walk you through it.

Yeah, it’s super simple. I tried to make one but it looked ridiculous, so it’s on Kevin’s list of to-do’s (and the list is quite long, I assure you).
By the way Kevin, don’t you see how that smiley face makes the post all weirdly spaced out? I’m not going to ban you from using them, but I reserve my right to harass you in the comments section after you do!

Oh no, I fully realize the impact of the smiley….and I agree that it does screw with the formatting of an otherwise good post. However, I’m still going to use it as often as possible, for instance right now
Seriously though, what would a blog post be without a good smiley? If that means harassment in the name of smileys, then so be it.
But back to the world of all seriousness, I’m glad everyone enjoys the logo! It took me a long time to get it to look right on the page after he was done with it. (The background was all screwy) but I must say I have a newfound respect for and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator. With that in mind, new voting buttons and favicons for Blankest Blank, Fechr and Bestest Blog are sitting on the top of the priority list. (along with a final site overhaul, hopefully to coincide with the unveiling of bestest blog of the year, but that’s yet to be seen w/ how busy I am at work) Things should slow down after Sunday, so feel free to add stuff to my list if there’s a sore thumb stickin out at you. That’s all for tonight.

Wow, that’s seriously impressive.
Something I forgot to mention in my other comment is that the Flag and Voting Number are squeezed to the left. I like them centered or back to the right, then again thats just my opinion.
Also, I gotta agree with Skittles LOL at Bobby and Kevin with the smiley debates.
