You’re at the new home of BestestBlog.com! If you’re looking for the old stuff, don’t worry, it’s still hosted at my blogspot domain: http://bestestblogofalltime.blogspot.com.
In the upcoming days, this blog will transition into a place to talk about my two newest blog promotion sites Blankest Blank and Fechr, not to mention a never ending source of better blogging tips. If you’re unfamiliar with these two sites let me tell you about them.
Blankest Blank
Fill in the blanks: Best Blog, Funniest Joke, Funniest Video, Most Fun Game, and more! You nominate your favorites, you vote on the nominations, and we give you the results, DAILY, right here on this blog. To get in the running for the dailyBest Blog award (and get a free link back!), you need to join the Blankest Blank Blog Directory. For the other nominations, you can embed your favorite game or video on your blog, type out your favorite joke, and nominate other sites too! Fechr
Fechr.com (pronounced feature) is a new site with a simple idea. 1 site, 1 day, 100+ visitors! Every day, at around midnight EST, a new site is “fechr-ed” on the home page. Get featured is FREE for a limited time! Once we have built the traffic to this site to over an average 500 visitors per day, we’re going to start charging a modest $5.00 (1 penny per visitor) to be featured…except for once a week on “Free Fechr Friday” where we’ll continue spreading the free web site promotion! If you want to get in line for a free feature (and again, get another free link back!), it’s as easy as submitting to the buzz directory. Questions? By the way, see the Top Commenters section of the sidebar? It shows the top 10 commenters on the site. And these are “do follow” links, so they count towards Technorati/Google PR/etc.!

I’m a bit disappointed with Fechr. A full post promoting a site? I’ll be happy to put a snippet of information at the end of one of my posts, plus a link in my side bar. Just what I think.
Also, how do we know we are getting the visitors? Anyone can say they are giving use traffic.

I should’ve clarified. I guess I don’t really care if it is a full post, but I didn’t really want it getting lost in the sidebar this time. You’re welcome to rehash the post you wrote up if need be.
If you are skeptical about whether or not Fechr.com is legit, you can check out this forum post over at PPP and see where ffnstuff and Colleen (two former features) discuss their totals for the day.

I sure hope not! I don’t have a job right now, so I’ve been busy coding 8-12 hours a day!! I’m just unveiling a lot of it all at once, hehe.

Here is another good way to expose your blog. Get your blog featured in fechr pronounced “feature”! Just like my all time favourite band Lynyrd Skynyrd first album called “Pronounced”. How do you pronounced Lynnyrd Skynyrd? It says Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd. Same thing, fechr to be pronounced “feature”. Cool, huh?
